MIX TAPEZ!!!!

Jill sent me a mixed tape in the mail! (I assume you know I really mean a mix CD when I say this, it just doesn't have the same ring to it) Mixed tapes are my favorite present to give and to receive, besides a good old fashioned handjob of course.. which you can't give out to just anyone, silly! But you can make a mixed tape for anyone, and it's not weird. In fact, it can totally make their week, like it did mine. I like them cuz you get to hear songs that you might've never heard otherwise. Or even if there are songs you already know, it's almost like hearing it with a new set of ears. Like songs that you never paid attention to might be your new favorite jam now (perfect example: "Baby Don't Go" by Sonny and Cher I know I've probably heard this one on the radio about a bazillion times, but Siobhan played it for me from a mix that she got recently, and I can't get enough of it). Songs always sounds different in the middle of a new mix, so you get a new appreciation for it. Plus I really like to know what the kids are listening to these days, y'know?

Actually, I have so much reggae type stuff on my Ipod, that I tend to hit next when anything comes up on my shuffle, but I think this song's gonna bring me right back into it.

I still have to make her one, probably this weekend after my last lab exam, and I'm also currently working on an Indie Rock mix for Nic. Cuz he doesn't know shit about indie rock (then again, I don't really either). Aaaaand I've been promising Siobhan one for like a year now (sorry dude).

Also, I made Jeannie a pretty sick Jerk mix a couple weeks ago. I think I did a pretty good job on this one. I call it Jerkin Jeannie.
