I downloaded a Sonny & Cher greatest hits and I've been listening to it nonstop.

WHA HAPPENED?!

Today

I make the best damn oatmeal and I don't care who knows it! That's right: old-fashioned oats, half milk/half water to cook, butter, brown sugar, bananas- BOOM.




I moved my chicken picture over by the hanging basket. I think it looks real nice there.




Well, I had kind of a shitty day (I got a stupid ticket, damn you Oakland meter maids!), but for dinner I reheated the leftover eggs in purgatory I made for mother last night. It came out alright. She really wanted sausage in it, and I thought it came out too meaty, but you really can't fuck this dish up. Next time I'm gonna do it with greens, over polenta.

Yeah, so I stumbled upon this Betty Crocker recipe for these minty chocolate chip cookies. I was so excited about them, but it turns out the creme de menthe chips are not as easy to find as I thought. I went on a wild goose chase all over town looking for them, only to find some crappy green mint chips at the Berkely Bowl. I thought they would be a fine substitute, and everyone really likes the cookies, but to me it's just not cuttin it. Turns out they sell the right chips at Wal-Mart. Who knew?

Well I watched the Nilsson documentary tonight with Jilly. MAN! That dude could sure write a beautiful song. Well I'm sure you can guess where this is going. Nothing but Nilsson for the rest of the week.







Also, jus cuz this ALWAYS makes me happy.
